ACNE/ ACNE VULGARIS / ACNE ROSACEA Treatment
Acne denotes any eruptions on the face of the adolescents. Acne is a disease condition wherein the hair follicles are obstructed from drainage of skin dead cells and the oily secretion (sebum). Papules and pustules form up as well along with the Acneiform eruptions.
There are two variants of Acne
Acne Vulgaris: This is commonly referred to as Acne
Acne Rosacea: Denoted as Rosacea.
Acne Vulgaris: In this variant, Small cysts (comedones) are formed in hair follicles by the accumulation of keratinous material(skin dead cells) and sebum due to the gradation in sebum production by the sebaceous glands after puberty.
Acne vulgaris is commonly on the face, upper back and chest. The acne(comedones) are open and closed, reddish papules, pustules and cysts. The closed acne (closed comedones) are referred to as as whitehead and the open acne(open comedones) are known as blackhead.
Acne Rosacea: Acne Rosacea is found in blush spaces of our cheeks, nose, forehead and chin. Rosacea predominantly affects the central face or the prominent part of our face. Acne appears reddish, with spider-webs like the appearance of veins(telangiectases), papules and pustules.
Causes

Genetic, Hereditary and Environmental factors.Acne Vulgaris is a disease primarily of teenagers , although in some adults it may continue to form. Acne Rosacea is observed exclusively in adults, being more common in women than men.
